With an olive-growing history that dates back to 1780, this company takes its name from the family castle located on the hill in the municipality of Canena, in the province of Jaén, Andalusia. The castle, located in the fertile environment of the Guadalquivir Valley, gives its name to its extra virgin oils. The proximity to Úbeda and Baeza, cities declared World Heritage Sites, adds an Andalusian cultural touch to its legacy. The company shows a deep respect for the environment, evidenced through initiatives such as photovoltaic energy plants, a vegetation cover that reduces the erosion of the land and preserves the native herbaceous vegetation, and the use of pruning remains in biomass as a non-polluting ecological fuel.
