Pozo Alcón, located in the southeast corner of the province of Jaén and part of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura, and Las Villas Natural Park, is a municipality with significant agricultural activity, with olive growing taking center stage. Its altitude and mountain climate contribute to the uniqueness of the oils produced here.
The municipality has approximately 4,200 hectares of olive groves , mainly of the Picual variety, although other varieties such as Royal and Arbequina are also grown. Pozo Alcón extra virgin olive oils are characterized by their fruity profile, balance, and high content of natural bioactive compounds.
