Hacienda Tucán was born from the desire to merge tradition and design, offering a Premium oil that guarantees our quality. Its founder, Tomás Padilla, is an entrepreneur from Jaén (CEU) with 25 years of experience in the olive oil sector. He is an expert in olive growing and elaiotechnics (UJA), an olive oil consultant (ESAO), a Master Miller, and a Sommelier (European School of Tasting). Always passionate about the pursuit and defense of the best extra virgin olive oil, he has carried out continuous research into new nuances and aromas of positive attributes achievable in our olive groves.
His passion for olive cultivation was instilled by his father, a bulk oil and seed broker with a long and successful professional career spanning more than 50 years, built on his commitment to providing security and trust to the market. On the other hand, he later followed in his mother’s footsteps, studying Interior Design (IADE) and Landscaping (DMAD), shaping his distinctive Tuscan-Mediterranean style, blended with tropical vegetation that is always present at the Hacienda.
