It boasts more than 7,500 hectares of olive groves and an estimated population of almost one million olive trees , making olive groves the main driving force of the local economy.

The Picual variety dominates production, producing intense, fruity, and highly stable oils. Thanks to the unique agroclimatic conditions of the area—such as its medium altitude and inland Mediterranean climate—Mancha Real EVOOs exhibit a very balanced sensory profile and a high concentration of natural antioxidants.
