Padilla Oils
Aceites Padilla surprises us with a special, limited selection of the Taggiasca variety. This variety is one of the most recognized in Italy for the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Taggiasca variety
Of Italian origin and late ripening, this variety produces dark brown olives and oil with yellow hues.
Smell and taste
Its bitterness, typical of green olives, is somewhat milder and has subtle hints of almonds and pine nuts, which linger on the palate for a few moments.
Its intense and elegant scent is reminiscent of ripe fruit and seems to transport you to the very heart of Liguria.
Pairing
Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil is an excellent accompaniment to meat and fish, as it does not cover or distort the original flavor and aroma of the dish, but rather enhances it and gives it a unique elegance and depth.
