Tasting Notes
Frantoio EVOO has a highly appreciated flavor and aroma. The flavor is fruity, with sweet notes and bitter and spicy nuances, reminiscent of fresh herbs, tomato, lettuce, artichoke, apple, grain, rosemary, celery, and almond, leaving a light, fruity aftertaste. Some describe its flavor as elegant and it is known as a fine, velvety oil that evolves into slightly spicy tones in the throat.
It is dark green in color and due to its high stability it is compared to other varieties such as Picual, Verdial or Cornicabra.
