Extra virgin olive oil slows the progression of breast cancer

The Multidisciplinary Group for the Study of Breast Cancer at the UAB, after 3 decades of clinical trials, claims that the consumption of extra virgin olive oil slows the progression of breast cancer.

Dr. Escrich states that when the disease already exists, extra virgin olive oil slows its progression thanks to its inhibitory action on the proliferation pathways of tumor cells.
