The Multidisciplinary Group for the Study of Breast Cancer at UAB confirms, after three decades of clinical trials, that the consumption of extra virgin olive oil slows the progression of breast cancer.
Dr. Escrich states that, once the disease is present, extra virgin olive oil slows its progression thanks to its inhibitory action on the proliferation pathways of tumor cells.
