In Canonja (Tarragona), Marc Romera manages the La Boella Mill La Boella, combining traditional methods with the most advanced technology.

The result is noble, artisan oils that are fruity and well-balanced. Although the star variety is Arbequina, La Boella also successfully harvests Arbosana and Koroneiki.

As if that weren’t enough, the most premium oils are produced: La Boella Premium, a coupage of Arbequina, Arbosana, and Koroneiki, which has won numerous awards, competitions, and prizes worldwide. Or the fresh and early harvest oil, Flor d’Oli.

On our estates, next to the Mediterranean, the climate—with mild winters and warm summers—is ideal for olive development, as are the characteristics of the soil.

The olives are harvested at their optimal ripeness. The time between harvest and milling is minimized to achieve the best fruit quality. The olives do not fall to the ground but are picked directly from the tree to preserve all their nutrients and properties. We strive to improve and become more demanding every day, to grow each year, and continue to count on so many loyal consumers of our brand.
