In Jaén, classes have been organised for children to explore the benefits of extra virgin olive oil. Children discover for themselves the benefits of this precious liquid gold and how essential it is for the body from an early age.
The secretary of the Union of Small Farmers of Jaén, Agustín Rodríguez, explains to Origen Oliva that extra virgin olive oil has a history of around 2,700 years. And that the value of being able to have 100% olive juice is so high that it cannot compete with anything else.
