In Jaén, classes have been organized for children focusing on the benefits of extra virgin olive oil. The children discover for themselves the advantages of this precious liquid gold and how essential it is for the body from an early age.
The Secretary of the Union of Small Farmers of Jaén, Agustín Rodríguez, explains to Origen Oliva that extra virgin olive oil has a history of about 2,700 years. He adds that the value of having access to 100% olive juice is so high that it cannot be compared with anything else.
