Jaén EVOOs Awarded Iber Oleum 2021
After a long and complex deliberation among hundreds of premium extra virgin olive oils from across Spain, the list of winners of the latest edition of Iber Oleum 2021 is now known in the categories “Best Medium Fruity EVOOs 2021,” “Best Intense EVOOs,” and “Best Organic EVOOs.”
The expert tasters who participated in this edition of Iber Oleum acknowledged the difficulty in making decisions due to the high quality of the EVOOs presented.
One of the Spanish provinces that stood out the most in this competition was undoubtedly Jaén, which saw nearly 20 types of Jaén EVOOs from different producers and varieties placed among the winners in the three categories, even reaching the top 3 with Oro Bailén Picual extra virgin olive oil.
